Services & Information

A little about us…

Upton and North Elmsall Parish Council works to support, represent and improve the local community. We are the first tier of local government and are made up of elected councillors who make decisions on behalf of residents, supported by the Clerk and council staff.

The Council is responsible for a range of local services and facilities across the parish, including play areas, open spaces, allotments, the Village Hall, community events, dog waste bins, floral displays, and local environmental improvements. We also work with partner organisations, Wakefield Council, community groups and residents to help address local issues and support projects that benefit the parish.

Our aim is to maintain and improve the area for everyone who lives, works in, or visits the parish, while protecting its history, community spirit and local identity.

Whether you are looking for council documents, local facilities, community updates or ways to get involved, this website is here to help you find the information you need.
